Education — B.F.A. (Bachelor in Fine Art) from College Of Visual Art, Kolkata, affiliated to Indira Kala Sangeet,  Viswa- Vidyalaya, Khairagarh (MP), Mentored by Mr Ganesh Haloi.

 Glowing colours, sunset hues sparkling over water form the main themes of Sandip Roy’s artwork. There is a strong focus on light and dark, with both the shadows and the highlights being clearly emphasized. The detailing is sharp – from the play of light on water and stone, to the textures, the environment and the tiny, colourful people. All of these add to the necessary finishing touch to the images.
