Scholarship — Merit Scholarship from Kala Bhavana Shantiniketan Vishwa Bharati University, Shantiniketan in 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002 and 2002-2003.

Sharp outlines and vivid colours are the first traits to catch one’s eyes in S Tanushree Chakraborty’s artwork. The figuratives are heavily stylized, on the verge of being abstract, with multiple layers of intricate detailing in the form of smaller outlined or coloured sketches. Both subjects and backdrops display solid colours with very little dependence on shading.

The artist lives and works in Haryana.
